E-Mail: dwlarson@martinsquires.com As an experienced commercial attorney with Martin & Squires, Mr. Larson focuses his practice on legal issues that affect small and medium sized businesses. This includes involvement in business formation and acquisition; business sale and dissolution; buying, selling and leasing commercial real estate, and resolving disputes between owners and/or managers about business and ownership issues. He drafts and reviews contracts, advises on governmental compliance requirements, insures corporate formalities are observed and is frequently consulted on employment issues such as noncompetition agreements. As a large part of his practice he is called upon to represent a business or insurer in litigation. Most commonly this is in the areas of minority shareholder claims, fiduciary issues, and employment issues. In the employment area he has tried age discrimination cases, sexual harassment cases, FMLA cases, disability, perceived disability and reasonable accommodation cases, contract cases, race and sex discrimination cases, religion and national origin cases, and a variety of other employment related suits. He has represented numerous businesses and insurers in administrative proceedings, arbitrations and trials in state and federal courts in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Practice Areas:
