Mr. Martin is an experienced practitioner engaged in several practice areas at Martin & Squires, P.A. including business transactions, real estate, estate planning and directing commercial litigation on both trial and appellate levels, including shareholder/partner disputes. His clients have included a variety of individuals, privately and publicly held corporations, and government institutions, including city and county governmental units, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. and the Resolution Trust Corp. Mr. Martin serves as general counsel to several closely held businesses, many of which are family owned. In this capacity he provides counseling, advocacy and support to the business entities, as well as owners, managers and employees of the businesses he serves. Prior to founding Martin & Squires, P.A., Mr. Martin was a shareholder and director of the law firms of Hessian & McKasy, P.A. and Tews, Squires, Martin & Martinson, P.A. with offices in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
